M.A. Thesis: "The Programmer"
In a series of interconnected short stories I seek to address (though not necessarily answer) questions of morality that face us in this modern world. Due to potential complications with publishing rights, I do not post my work online.
"Doctor's Orders" - The young Dr. Hobbes Sylvan accidentally causes the death of a patient during an experimental procedure. The research company backing the procedure helps the doctor to cover up the death.
"Searching" - Sudden fiction. Explores the reasons for Dr. Sylvan's trip to India.
"A Crime of Passion" - An experimental epistolary novella. Dr. Hobbes Sylvan, now working with an NGO in India, becomes the prime suspect in a recent cybercrime. The story explores the fine line between activism and terrorism.
"A Power Like God" - Further explores the political and moral questions raised in "A Crime of Passion," this time through the perspective of a child.
